As you heard in the service on Sunday, we have an amazing opportunity to share the gospel with local elementary school students through our ministry partnership with Lifewise. (You can learn more about Lifewise here.) There are currently many needs in the west Aurora chapter of Lifewise; keep reading to learn more about the specific areas of need. Immediate Need:
- A volunteer on Thursdays at Redeemer from 10:45-12:30
Teens 15 and over are able to be extra volunteers in the classroom. They do not count as one of the 2, but for our larger classes, extra hands are very helpful!
Positions that can be done at home on your own time:
- Communications coordinator to communicate with families what their children are experiencing at LifeWise.
- Marketing coordinator to creatively find ways to market LifeWise to families and community.
- A small-donations coordinator who finds small-donation donors and regularly communicates with them.
- Volunteer coordinator to schedule volunteers each week and ensure there are enough volunteers for each classroom.
Positions that are done on site each week:
- Teachers and substitute teachers to teach various classes. These are the only paid positions in LifeWise.
- Volunteers to help in the classroom. We need at least two volunteers in each class.
- Bus/van drivers to drive students from the school to the church and then back when class is over.
