Galatians 6:2 says, “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ (ESV). We all have them, burdens. There are our common, everyday burdens, which still need bearing up under, and then there are BURDENS! Every day people in our community face legal challenges they can’t navigate alone. Administer Justice (administerjustice.org) exists to change that – to help those in our community that face these BURDENS.
Redeemer Community Church is delighted to partner with Administer Justice (AJ) to host one of their Gospel Justice Centers. Our AJ team, comprised of people within our church and close friends, opens up our church building the first Saturday morning of each month to consult with BURDENDED members of our community. We’ve only been open for three Saturdays, and we have had client consultations every week! We are able to offer Spanish translation (thank you Palmira!) which, not surprisingly, has been a popular draw for neighbors in our community.
Due to the nature of the BURDENS being borne by AJ Justice Centers, you won’t be hearing much in way of individual stories. But reports from our team coming out of the confidential consultations, and client hugs to our team members indicate that we are helping to lighten burdens as we are able to give people next steps and resources. We are encouraged.
All members of an AJ Justice Center contribute in very specific ways according to the AJ model. You can learn more about roles of team members here. And please pray for our Justice Center and our team. If client demand remains robust, we will need to grow the team at some point in time, including the addition of an attorney or two.
