Ghana Short-Term Missions Trip: The Latest

Our Ghana team is formed and preparations for their July 1-10 trip are underway!

Trip Details

We have a group of 13 excited individuals who are meeting monthly for equipping and prayer in anticipation of their short-term Redeemer mission trip to Ghana, West Africa.  They will partner there with Ray Mensah and OneWay Africa to strengthen church-planting efforts and serve the local community. This team is excited to share their faith, support local believers, and experience firsthand what God is doing in West Africa. Through evangelism, outreach, and relationship-building, they will work to support the work in Accra and nearby villages. Ministry opportunities will include:

  • Partnering with graduates of the OneWay Africa Livingstone School of Missions to do evangelistic outreach in cities / towns / villages nearby to boost their work.
  • School outreaches – could do drama, music, share gospel. They will have lots of access to many nearby schools in Ghana.
  • Partnering with Emmanuel – (OWA staff member) – street preaching!
  • Partner with City of Refuge – orphanage about one hour outside of town

This is an incredible opportunity to share the love of Christ, experience Ghanaian culture, and strengthen our partnership with OneWay Africa. Together, the team will serve as laborers in the harvest; let’s join them in praying that this partnership will not only impact Ghana but also inspire long-term workers for the global mission field.

Financial Support

We are so grateful to report that as of May 22, 2025, this trip is fully funded!
Thank you for your generosity in helping us meet this goal.

Prayer Support

Even more important than finances is your prayer. Would you commit to praying for this team? Here are some key ways to pray:

  • Unity among the team members
  • Servant hearts as they partner with OneWay Africa
  • Open doors for gospel conversations
  • Health and safety during travel and ministry
