Serving Needs
The body of Christ is made of many members serving together. We are so grateful for each person who serves at Redeemer; we have all benefited from their labors!
It takes the whole body to make all of our Sunday and mid-week ministry happen, and we are currently in need of servants to fill the roles below. If you’re interested or curious, please use this short form to sign up or ask questions.
- Greeters: Serve one Sunday a month from 9:20–10:20am welcoming members and visitors to Redeemer.
This team has a huge impact on people’s first impressions at Redeemer. Best for those who want to connect with more people and help knit them into the body. - Projection Team: Serve the first Sunday every month on slides, from 8:30am to the end of the service.
Best for someone with attention to detail. - Redeemer Kids: Serve one Sunday a month in Redeemer Kids. Current needs are:
Classroom teachers (need two): must be 18 or older
Classroom helpers (need six): must be 12 or older
Classroom Teacher substitutes
Redeemer Kids Check-in Desk Leaders (need one pair)
Kids choir leader and helpers for Christmas Celebration. This is a seasonal role that requires weekly leadership for the 6-8 weeks leading up to December 13. - Video/Livestream Team: Serve one Sunday a month, or as a sub, from 9:00am to the end of the service.
Our video techs make the livestream happen every Sunday. Once trained, techs generally run the livestream alone on their Sunday (but support is always available). - Wayside Driver: Serve one Sunday a month, or irregularly as a sub, using the Redeemer van to drive our Wayside friends to and from church. Driver must be 21. Drivers pick up at Wayside at 9:20am on Sundays and return there after the service.
- Youth 139 Youth Group: Serve one Sunday a month as a teacher, student, or sub from 8:45–9:45am.
Youth 139 exists to build relationships between the youth of all abilities at Redeemer, and to provide youth with disabilities the opportunity to participate in a small group, including diving into God’s Word, applying it to life, and learning what it looks like to share struggles and encourage one another as we point each other to Jesus. This groups is served by adults and several teens each week. To receive more information contact Caitlin (cbozarth@redeemeraurora.com).
